About:

James Baker is an MFA Lighting and Sound Designer from the University of Memphis who designs for theatre, dance, opera, and events.   He has worked with theatres like Theatre Memphis, Hattiloo Theatre, Playhouse on the Square, Seagle Music Festival, Tennessee Shakespeare Company, and TheatreWorks. He also runs a small art company called Art Soundscape.

 

He has also worked for PSAV as an Audio Visual Technician.  In addition to Lighting/Sound design and digital art, his work includes being a Master Electrician, Scenic Carpenter, and Prop Design.

He also does freelance work when the opportunity arrives.
